The Spiritual Laws Of The Mind And Mouth

We live by spiritual laws. They govern how we live our lives on a physical level. They affect our physical realities when activated. Among the other spiritual laws, there are two that are common and powerful. These spiritual laws are the law of the mind and the law of the mouth. The law of the mind states that our thoughts create our reality, and the law of the mouth states that our words create our reality. Both laws are powerful because they can be used to create positive or destructive outcomes in our lives.

The first spiritual law relates to the mind.

Proverbs 23:7 (NKJV) 7 For as he thinks in his heart, so is he. “Eat and drink!” he says to you, But his heart is not with you. Who you are is shaped by your thoughts. For as he conceives in his heart, so is he. Proverbs 23:7 does not say that as you conceive in your heart that is how you will be but that is how you are now. It is therefore necessary to change the way you think if you want to change your life. Allow God’s word to guide your thinking. But how? And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is the good and acceptable and perfect will of God (Romans 12:2).
