Psalms 46:1 (NKJV) God is our refuge and strength, A very present help in trouble.
John 16:33 (NKJV) These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.”
What is trouble? Trouble refers to difficulties, challenges, or problems that cause distress or hardship. It can encompass various aspects of life, such as personal, emotional, financial, or spiritual struggles. What does the Bible say about trouble? The Bible acknowledges that trouble is a part of life but offers hope and encouragement to those facing difficult times. It teaches that God is with us in our troubles and provides strength and comfort. What are the types of troubles? Troubles can manifest in different forms, including illness, persecution, conflict, loss, temptation, and adversity.
Here are a few prayer points:
- Pray for God’s strength and guidance during times of trouble.
- Ask for wisdom to navigate through challenges and for faith to trust in God’s plan.
- Pray for peace and comfort in the midst of trouble.
- Seek God’s intervention and deliverance from specific troubles.
Scripture against trouble: These scriptures can be used in prayer as declarations of faith and trust in God’s provision during times of trouble.
- Psalm 34:17 — “The righteous cry out, and the Lord hears them; he delivers them from all their troubles.”
- Isaiah 41:10 — “So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God.I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.”
- 2 Corinthians 4:8–9 — “We are hard pressed on every side, but not crushed; perplexed, but not in despair; persecuted, but not abandoned; struck down, but not destroyed.”
